While I normally draw everything myself, I couldn’t pass up a chance to tattoo a piece of art that I’ve always been inspired by. Brian Bolland @brian.bolland and John Higgins are some of my earliest art heroes, getting to tattoo this piece from Batman: Killing Joke was challenging and I can’t thank my client enough for putting up with the time I needed to put into this. The inner arm is inspired by an awesome Batman Who Laughs piece by artist Andre de Almeida @andre_d_art , color by Valentina Taddeo. I urge you to check out their work, buy prints! I’m pretty proud of my HaHa Gotham skyline, that part is purely my design, although I’m sure someone’s drawn the idea before.
